Built in 1927, Hoeve De Haar, was once a manor farm. The farmers leased the farm from their noble neighbors Twickel Castle. A part of the building served as a hunting room of the Twente manufacturer Stork family. Partly because of the dual function the Homestead got the status of national monument.
Today, Hoeve De Haar has become a luxury Bed and Breakfast with seven comfortable rooms and a multipurpose meeting room / cooking / dining and facilities. The former farmland at the farm is now a superb 18-hole golf course. What more could you wish for?
